#JauPrison: In an audio recording received by @ADHRB, detained international photographer Mahdi AlJalawi appeals to the relevant authorities, particularly the Ministry of Interior, to address the detainee's concerns.
@ADHRB documented assaults on hunger-striking detainees at #JauPrison, including the use of batons & pepper spray, & the denial of medical care & communication. These demands come after over two weeks of strike action & continued disregard for complaints & reported violations.
@ADHRB calls upon @moi_bahrain, @Ombudsman_BH, and @NIHRBH to take urgent action to address the situation of those on hunger strike at #JauPrison, respond to their legitimate demands, and ensure access to healthcare and fundamental rights for all detainees.
تدعو @ADHRB وزارة الداخلية (@moi_bahrain) والأمانة العامة للتظلمات (@Ombudsman_BH) والمؤسسة الوطنية لحقوق الإنسان (@NIHRBH) إلى التحرك العاجل لمعالجة أوضاع المضربين عن الطعام في #سجن_جو، والاستجابة لمطالبهم المشروعة، وضمان الرعاية الصحية والحقوق الأساسية لجميع المعتقلين.
وقعت منظمات حقوقية بينها @ADHRB، رسالة إلى الرئيس الفرنسي إيمانويل ماكرون قبيل زيارته للبحرين، دعته فيها إلى وضع حقوق الإنسان في صميم مباحثاته مع الملك حمد بن عيسى آل خليفة، والضغط للإفراج عن المعتقلين السياسيين والمدافعين عن حقوق الإنسان، ووقف الانتهاكات.

ودعت الرئيس ماكرون إلى المطالبة بالإفراج عن عبدالهادي الخواجة، والشيخ محمد حبيب المقداد، وحسن مشيمع، والدكتور عبدالجليل السنكيس، وسائر المحتجزين تعسفيًا، وإعادة الجنسية إلى من أُسقطت عنهم، ووقف تنفيذ أحكام الإعدام.
Rights groups, including @ADHRB, urged French President Emmanuel Macron ahead of his Bahrain visit to prioritize human rights in talks with King Hamad, push for the release of political prisoners and human rights defenders, and halt abuses.

It urged President Macron to call for the release of Abdulhadi Al-Khawaja, Sheikh Mohamed Habib Al-Muqdad, Hasan Mushaima, Dr. Abduljalil Al-Singace, and all those arbitrarily detained, the restoration of revoked citizenship, and a halt to executions.
