Fantastic work Hadi, never in doubt! Looking forward to your future triumphs!
Great clear, practical talk from @EdinburghKnee on periprosthetic fractures about taper slip stems at the #exeterhip 50 year symposium

True, but they also include “aspirational” so you should probably take this theft as a compliment
Great to see @edwards_tomc @msklab1 presenting his important work on surgical training at #aaos2023 Las Vegas. So important to consider the whole team when promoting patient safety in the operating theatre

Well, put another way, her median life expectancy at 75 is 13 years and she’s already symptomatic. Clearly a discussion to be had with the patient and don’t know comorbs or activity level but on balance that would be where I’d sit. Certain though? Of course not!

Posterior approach, new cup, DM onto the monobloc stem and leave the well fixed stem

What an amazing result. Minority view but I’d revise now though - she’s symptomatic enough to come back; she’ll need a revision in her lifetime. Why wait till she’s older and has more osteolysis?

I really think you’re spot on with this. Cement is never wrong in hip fractures; in suitably trained hands, adding a cup is a very small bit of extra surgery which is potentially beneficial in medium term and makes little to no difference to complications as per HEALTH.
Great pitch from @OrthoSingh - showing his characteristic clear thinking and understanding of what’s important in the role. A top trainee genuinely motivated to make things better for trainees overall. Highly support!
After years of only discussing it in @BoneJointJ editorial meetings, I’m loving the resurgence of interest in the Oxford comma. For the avoidance of doubt, I’m pro.
Congratulations to our PhD student @edwards_tomc - well deserved recognition for his great work on VR training @EORS_Society @BritishORS @MSkLab1
Honoured to be awarded this wonderful prize for our #VR research. Super grateful to my fantastic supervisory team @KLogishetty @ADLiddle @orthorobodoc and for all the support received from our incredible team at @MSkLab1. Thanks @EORS_Society see you in Porto @eors2023 🦴🔬
Alright @KLogishetty @edwards_tomc @MartiniqueVb @OrthoSingh you've finally got me on Twitter - what shall I do next?
