Amidst a slate where Boston expected to blowout the Nets, Spurs decimate the Kings, and still trying to figure out the team dynamic of the Blazers, i'm rolling with KAT to impose his will tonight vs Paul Reed, and the Pistons.
Despite the 0-3 start to the season, Towns is putting solid numbers, averaging 21.0 points / 12.0 rebounds, totaling out to 33 p/r, and over 31.5 P/R in 2/3 games thus far with 31, 32, and 36 P/R. KAT should be looking to take Reed to the basket all game long, drawing the contact, and getting to the line. Ausar Thompson's status now sits at probable, so this game should be close enough for KAT to get his regular minutes / stats. Pistons sit top 3 in lowest shooting % allowed to opponents from the field, top 5 in rebounds per game but 28th in steals per game. The Knicks off to shaky start but they sit 7th in rebounds per game, and allow around the 6th lowest shooting % from the field to opponents.
In 2 matchups vs the Pistons last season, KAT averaged 13.5 points, and 6.0 rebounds, over 31.5 p/r in 1/2 games with 7 & 32 p/r. Pistons haven't faced scoring bigs yet this season outside of Bam / Giannis where Bam had 10 p/r ( fouled out ), while Giannis had 48 p/r.

Nothing is funny anymore bring this guy back NOW
Jalen Brunson, after losing tonight to fall to 0-3, put the onus on himself and also said #Knicks are hearing too much positivity. And when a reporter suggested perhaps the team “needs” the New York media, Brunson, with no expression, said: “Do what you do.”
The FRO plays basketball and he should absolutely be a hall of fame glass cleaner tonight vs the Wolves as Rudy Gobert is operating all inside only especially with the current lineup they have.
Through 2 games thus far this season, Allen is averaging 7.5 rebounds, over 7.5 rebounds in 1/2 games with 7 rebounds vs Embiid / 76ers & 8 rebounds vs Sharpe / Nets. Now while Allen doesn't have an official hard minutes restriction, the Cavs are managing Allen with a "soft" restriction due to his knee. Allen has seen 27 and 28 minutes in his first 2 games but he's been really efficient. Allen seeing similar minutes tonight should be enough to snag down 8 rebounds for us.
The Cavs sit top 3 in blocks per game which can lead to rebounds, and top 5 in lowest shooting % allowed from the field to opponents this season. The Wolves have been sharp, allowing around the 8th lowest shooting % from the field, and around the 4th lowest shooting % from 3 to oppoentns this season. Opposing centers rebounds vs Wolves thus far :
Bam - 7 rebounds in 31 mins in blowout loss
Wendell Carter - 9 rebounds in 21 mins
Jakob - 1 rebound in 19 mins | CMB - 7 rebounds in 19 mins
Homecoming for the kid from the Wisconsin & you know he's looking to put on a show. Tyrese Haliburton made it clear he's definitely playing tonight vs the Bucks, and with Zubac out / Nembhard questionable, a few extra shots / assists will be there for Haliburton.
Haliburton is looking great like he never left, averaging 21.7 points, and 9.7 assists ( 3rd league best ), totaling out to 31.4 P/A, with 35, 25, and 34 P/A. Not only does Hali return home, but he also faces off vs former teammate Myles Turner, and a bit of negativity with Ryan Rollins in preseason. The Pacers are around 3rd best in the league in shooting % from the field, and top 3 in assists per game. The Bucks are bottom 5th in steals per game, bottom 9th in blocks per game, and around 18th in shooting % allowed to opponents from the field.
In 4 matchups vs the Bucks, during the 24-25 season, Haliburton averaged 17.0 points, and 10.3 assists, totaling out to 27.3 P/A, over 29.5 p/a in 1/4 games with 27, 19, 24, and 39 P/A. The obvious is the roster changes from then to now though, and what the Bucks give up to opposing guards this season :
Trae - 33 p/a
Giddey - 15 p/a | Tre Jones - 19
Maxey - 30 p/a
