This vote was not a political matter. It was a matter that affects directly a family who is suffering, who wants to know the truth, and who wants justice for their son, robbed of life prematurely. Shame on each of these 40MPs who voted against a public enquiry. #forJeanPaulSofia

If you read one thing this year, please let it be this post by @Joanna__Hardy. It is without a shadow of the doubt the best thing that's ever appeared on this blog. It is just stupendously, heartbreakingly, achingly brilliant.

@Feport_EU Sixth Annual Stakeholders’ Conference - Brussels, December 1st, 2021
Do you want to know what happened in the maritime logistics chain in 2020 and first semester 2021?
Do you want to know whether disruption was mainly due to COVID?
@ADarmanin
To all my British friends. Please, please, ask your local MP to participate in the debate. #FreeNazarin @freenazarin. This is beyond party politics. This is about a human being and a family who is unjustly suffering as a result of being a pawn between two countries. 🙏

Many of you have asked me how you can help Richard Ratcliffe. I’ve secured a debate on Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe on Tuesday in Parliament. Please contact your MP and ask them to speak in the debate and make the case for bringing Nazanin home. #FreeNazanin @AmnestyUK
Spot on!
“The current disruption of the maritime supply chain is not about a mega-ship stuck in the Suez Canal, and it is not about lack of adequate infrastructure in ports – ultimately, it is about a lack of effective competition policy for global liner shipping” transportpolicymatters.org/2…
It was not our usual face to face Autumn Conference. Nonetheless an interesting one with great speakers and insightful questions.
Big thanks to all speakers and the 81 attendants for a very interesting debate on the EU towage sector´s response to the pandemic, and the perspectives for a more #resilient #smart and #green future. We are looking forward to meeting you soon in person
