French intelligence expects 400,000—500,000 people to march across France tomorrow. Warns of likely attacks on public buildings and other symbols of the state plus "opportunistic looting".
So a repeat of last Saturday expected.
But with some shopkeepers organising their own defence. We shall see.
Even more significant, French security services particularly concerned about 20,000 to 40,000 expected at Saturday's rally in Orleans organised by hard-left (communist) CGT union to protest against Marine Le Pen’s National Rally, which is holding its congress (conference) in Orleans.
The National Rally expects about 5,000 people there on Saturday and up to 10,000 on Sunday, when Le Pen launches her presidential campaign.
Protests on Sunday have been banned — though that doesn’t mean they won’t happen. Orleans will be a tinderbox.

Can’t speak about Spain but Communists have been active in promoting violence among ultra left French. Along with trots, anarchists, antifa-types, Mélenchon acolytes.
What are your thoughts on the soviet union/communist flags on the streets of Spain and France in recent days, Andrew? Have you ever seen anything like this before?
I'm younger than many on here, but I don't personally remember seeing footage of anything like this in the past.
There were Soviet Union flags at Limoges Town Hall before it was burnt down, and many in Coruña, as 5,000 left wing activists showed up to counter a right wing demonstration yesterday.
Every radical chic, know-nothing, haute bourgeois student at every supposedly ‘elite’ university waves the Palestinian/Hamas flag these days. It doesn’t mean there’s an Islamist uprising underway. It just means there are some remarkably stupid/ignorant people allowed into supposedly elite universities these days.
I called the (then unknown) rioters who torched the Limoges town hall barbarians (and bastards). The two who’ve been arrested in connection with that (so far) are white ultra-leftists. No surprise to me. If found guilty they are indeed ‘barbarians (and bastards)’. True of those guilty/complicit, whatever the colour. And you, of course, will always be a twat, whatever your colour. Nobody thinks that’s even up for debate.
