Went to the SMU Athletic Forum @AFSMU and listened to Lance Armstrong, a guy who was on top of the world (7 time winner of Tour de France 🇫🇷) and fell all the way down from grace. The moderator asked him, what advice would you give kids starting their career today. And he said:
“I was one of those kids that never got passed the ball, if you’re in the game (sports, career, or whatever you’re trying to accomplish):
1. Keep running those routes, and don’t quit
2. If given the opportunity and thrown the ball, MAKE SURE YOU CATCH THE BALL
3. When you catch the ball, RUN
4. Whatever you do, DO NOT DROP THE BALL 🏈 “
I think this is a great piece of advice in business…..
