Reports from Central California is indicating a surge of ICE activity. Some account that ICE was arresting people on their way to work. The United Farm Workers union released a statement urging locals to report ICE in the area. The vast majority of those who will start paying attention to politics in their 30s and 40s will be moderates, and nothing like those who are politically interested today. You saw this happen with Millennials. Most voting millennials are economic voter moderates who joined politics 2016ish, after being a "leading reason" for Obama's wins. So assuming the Gen Z GOP will only get more extreme over time is almost certainly impossible. Odds are once the GOP is starting to become another moderate economic voting block, then Gen Alpha will find their "extremist voice" who will be saying that it will be Gen Alpha who will lead the GOP in 2036 election. The cycle will continue on and on.
