A little over a year ago, @POTUS took the oath with a clear mandate: deliver real, common-sense results for the American people. 🇺🇸 For too long, Washington added layers, costs, and confusion—with little to show for it. That’s changing. Last July, the agency launched a full-scale reorganization built on four clear pillars: ✅ Ensure the Size of @USDA's Workforce Aligns with Financial Resources and Priorities Making sure USDA’s size actually matches our resources and ag priorities—being responsible with every taxpayer dollar. ✅ Bring USDA Closer to Its Customers by Relocating Resources Outside of the National Capital Region Unelected policy experts shouldn’t be calling the shots for our farmers. We’re moving staff closer to the communities they serve. ✅ Eliminating Management Layers and Bureaucracy Reducing unnecessary layers so decisions get made faster and farmers get answers quicker. ✅ Consolidate Support Functions Streamlining overlapping offices so USDA runs more efficiently and delivers better results.
