In real-life, I like to ask someone for the short date. If they look baffled - not a teacher.
Season's Greetings to all at @GCHQ . I very much enjoyed your puzzles this year! Happy Christmas to you ald yours. Thank
Exciting to learn about the positive impact of @Nat_Numeracy 's 'Schools and Families' Programme from Bethan Barnes. Great resource to discover at the end of #MathsWeekEngland.
It's the final day of #MathsWeekEngland. I'm excited to be delivering a keynote in Maidstone today, to talk to teachers about the importance of making maths engaging. I am looking forward to giving my talk entitled "Maths for Kicks, Not for Ticks!". #MWE2025
Aha! Not sure about 'brilliant', but it was wonderful to catch up with you, my friend! Keep up the excellent work! #MathsWeekEngland #Mwe2025

I'm passionate about helping people with their maths. But it's not always serious. Here's a fun piece of work I did for @TheO2 recently: theo2.co.uk/news/detail/perf…

Y5 kicked off Maths Week England with an interesting challenge set by @AJMagicMessage investigating how many square walks could be taken on a 5x5 grid and working systematically to find our solutions. @3saintsmaths #mathsweekengland

I've been off social media for the last year. It's been a tough one. But I think this is too important not to share. So I am going to get back on the horse. Here's why: #MWE2025
Agree with @adamvirgs19 's decision about Player of the Match this evening - Veltman was excellent. #IPSBHA
I hope you'd approve, old friend. I miss you.
Wow! We were overwhelmed by more than 150 entries for the @dcbeagle1 memorial competition for #mwe24 ; thank you all.
Doug would be so proud.
Please be patient with us as we sift through to find our winner.
This interesting idea caught my eye this morning from @mrbartonmaths:
Year6 really enjoyed sharing their solutions to yesterday's #mwe24 video puzzle this morning !

That Polya book is a classic. I thought it was a pretty turgid read at first but there is some pure gold inside!!
