OTD in 1932 the Soviet Union signed a non aggression pact with Finland. It turned out we preferred one with the Nazis that had a secret clause cos 7 years later we invaded Finland.

That means he's gonna escalate the attacks. Whenever Moscow is calling for ending the hostilities, assume it will do exactly the opposite. The entire purpose of "peace talks" is creating favourable political (and military) conditions for the offensive I mean, it's quite obvious?
