Most people i know did not have someone sit them down and teach them. Most of us just watched YouTube tutorials or in my case tiktoks. Makeup is a skill just like any other, it's not impossible, you just need to be willing to mess around with it until you find what suits you!

For me i felt it was easier to learn just because I'm an artist, it's kinda just like drawing/painting on your face. You're going to go through rough looks at first, but the more you practice and research the easier it gets.
