📢 There are only two women I trust to the Scottsdale board - @amycarney4susd and @JeanneBForSUSD - It’s a thankless, brutal volunteer job, and the district is in managed decline, mostly self-inflicted. Despite zero sum enrollment dynamics, the admin leadership is openly hostile to parents demanding change + academic rigor over politically-infused curricula and policy. They’d rather families leave than give an inch of consideration to change course if associated with Right-coded ideas. Amy and Jeanne will take those arrows. They deserve a chance.
I’m proud to support @JeanneBForSUSD Governing Board! 🇺🇸 Jeanne attends nearly every Board meeting, serves on district and city committees, ran for the Board in 2024, and continually cares & shows up. There are TWO seats on the Nov. 3 ballot. VOTE 🇺🇸 CARNEY & BEASLEY

Another mom on discovering a school’s low expectations - and bad advice. Most assume their “good” suburban district with high property values not affected. Wrong. Cf, Scottsdale, 40% science proficiency means 60% are NOT at grade level. Look at their friends group, are you sure YOURS is in the 40%? And even if so, is it TRUE?
The only reason this didn’t happen to us in our super-expensive suburban school district is that I happened to clean out my 4th grader’s backpack one day & discovered a math test with a grade of 68 When I asked his teacher about it she said, “Don’t worry, he understands the concepts” I thought that must be right since the teacher had said it … but after that I tuned in & eventually realized my son didn’t have a freaking clue about the concepts or anything else The next year I gave him the Singapore Math placement test, discovered he was 2 years behind, then bought the Saxon Math books & matched the two of us through them one lesson at a time He’s teaching algebra this year

AZ homeschool mom: “My kids do 2+ years of math a year.” NYC public school mom: “my son was a straight-A math student — but he can’t do fractions, basic algebra”
In a devastating 1rst-person piece, NYC education advocate and mom Adriana Aviles tells how her son received the highest grades in math throughout elementary and middle school in Queens’ District 26, the best in the city. Yet now in high school, she soon discovered, “He couldn’t solve basic algebra. He couldn’t do geometry. He couldn’t compute elementary-school fractions." “My shock soon gave way to heartbreak, then anger. The NYC education system had betrayed my son to make itself look better." “I failed too. I didn’t scrutinize his work closely or check his performance on state test scores because I figured if his report cards were good then everything was fine.” “I looked back and discovered he was deemed ‘not proficient’ in math on a 7th-grade state exam.” nypost.com/2026/10/31/us-new…

I’m not always an Ed Doomer, so don’t rush to claim this study shows US Ed Corp is dumbing down the SAT: “This report is a content analysis. It tells us only what the test asks….It does not, and was not designed to, tell us whether the test has become more or less difficult for students.” Be critical but not gullible.
We were concerned that the SAT has become a less reliable measure of student preparedness for a rigorous college curriculum. So, we commissioned a study from Johns Hopkins University. What does this study tell us about the state of higher education? The results are shocking. thaq.co/4iLThZ0

Replying to @avidseries
In terms of terror effectiveness, there’s quite a standout profile here…The incident-to-death ratio kinda calls for a whole other study.

And just like, the women of MIT henceforth become yet another source for black-pilling young men. Another, told you so. @herandrews is a prophet.
A colleague sent me this excerpt of a text Kristin Knouse sent to a friend. Fox News posted it with the article they published. She was so confident her own choices would count for nothing when assigning blame. The entitlement is staggering. This captures what universities have become. Truth and fairness are irrelevant while administrators identify favored categories and protect the people who fit them, regardless of how destructively they behave. Individual conduct is meaningless in light of the institutional narrative. The message exemplifies the entitlement behind Knouse’s accusations and the receptive audience she found among administrators. She expected responsibility to rest with him regardless of her own conduct. The institutions gave that expectation career-destroying force. A majority female jury in a deep blue state found that she defamed Dr. Sabatini and unlawfully interfered with his professional relationships, rejected her counterclaims, and awarded him $6 million. The disgrace extends beyond Knouse. Administrators and the rotten institutions they lead destroyed a scientist’s life’s work while claiming to uphold fairness and evidence. They should be held accountable for what they did.

“the incompetent are blessed with absolute, blinding certainty. their brain protects them from their own ignorance, allowing them to speak first, demand authority, and never second-guess their decisions.” 👀
This is what teachers think about your white sons if you have them in public schools
