I absolutely LOVE what I do, but working with horses is still work. I feel like a lot of people think that we “get to” work with horses and that we spend our entire day feeling the way they do when they come out to ride their horse(s) or take lessons or do whatever.

I'm at a stage in my life when "doing something different" for dinner means buying a different shape of pasta
Hollywood seems to think whinnying is this majestic noise horses make but tbh 1000 horses screaming at a show at 6:00AM is not pleasant
Ya know it's funny how horses naturally were these tough sturdy little mustangs and humans were like "nah, let's breed them so they move pretty and go lame if you look at them wrong"
I wonder if my horse knows how freaking long it takes me to pack her things while she naps in her stall in front of a fan #highmaintenence

The fun thing about Kentucky spring is that it was 80* and severe storms yesterday but it's supposed to snow like 6" at Spring Bay this weekend 🙃
Y'know it really throws me off when people don't automatically pass left shoulder to left shoulder on the campus sidewalks
