26 years ago, I was sewn into my wedding dress with fishing line. I still do not trust hidden zippers. I’m still deeply in love with my husband.
Help me pick my next draft:
1-Engaged couple break up after he sees a full panic attack. They struggle to find their way back together.
2-Missing husband returns the day she was going to have him declared dead. She feels obligated to reconcile despite some abuse and another man.

This year our best candidate for governor is an independent. Without him in the race, the other favorable candidate might have a chance. With him, we’ll just split the ticket and lose. A lot is at stake. Also wondering, if my ballot is counted as I voted.
We said goodbye to our darling Mo tonight. She was 14 years. Sadly, she was suffering more than not. I don’t feel like there was a good decision to be had.

PSA for writers! When a fellow writer offers to critique your manuscript when you’re finished, save their name and then ask them for help. Seriously write it down! You’ll forget by the time you’re done. Aske me how I know.

My dad has been gone for 23 years. He would’ve been 80 this month. I still miss him but I’m no longer heartbroken over his passing. At least not right now.

How do you know the difference between a scammer and an internet strangers asking about your book? Genuine question. People ask about my book and I assume they’re just looking for a mark. But I have to talk about it if people are going to want to read it.
Old wives tales say that the first frost is six weeks away from the first sound of the cicadas. I’m marking the date. I actually don’t think this tale is true but we’ll see. I love the sound of cicadas. I love finding their exoskeleton clinging to the brick on the house.
