I did something outside my comfort zone but it turned out to be so rewarding!I gave a presentation to my daughter’s fifth grade class about Pathology. The kids thought what we do is cool and some actually want to consider Path when they grow up!😊

The top 3 medical specialties that AI should largely replace within the next 5 years:
1. Radiology
2. Ophthalmology
3. Pathology
Any specialty heavily dependent on interpreting images, scans, or patterns is going to face ENORMOUS disruption.
And this should ultimately mean faster diagnoses, much lower costs, and better access for patients.
What specialty am I missing?

WHO 6th ed Gyn path update:
➡️SBT with microinvasion (<5 mm):no longer recommended,describe descriptively.
➡️The term “microinvasive ca” for LGSC like areas <5 mm in SBT is also no longer recommended.Just call it LGSC in SBT😮
This will take some time to get used to!
