Many of the accounts that called for @thekingofstank's mass reporting that ended in the suspension of his account are still here, gloating over a broken TOS, and trying to remove more art accounts. I could change the auth, I could open a seperate account, but why? Why the fuck should I? Nearly everyone with a blue checkmark is trying to build something, not just developers. Whether it's a book, an audience, etc. X causes significant financial harm by banning these accounts, therefore the harm that these accounts caused must also be significant. Mass reporting should NEVER be a tool to remove an account. Hide a post? sure, but track the accounts that are mass reporting. If it's habitual; if it's targeted; if it's consistent, the unhide all the comments and remove every account involved in the flagging. Botnets will be destroyed, bad faith actors will get their accounts removed. And the people trying to make your app a better place will continue to make your app a better place.
