I don’t remember the last time I saw a player go to the hospital in an ambulance and return to the game later. Anyone recall it happening?

#Colts RB Jonathan Taylor on whether he’s OK with being part of a rebuild:
Taylor: “You think we’re rebuilding?”
Reporters: “Based on this week, yeah.”
Taylor: “We’re going out there trying to win. … No one goes out there to wave the white flag and surrender.”
The #Colts trading Quenton Nelson and DeForest Buckner as early as they did struck some executives as odd.
It looks even worse now after the #Bears acquired Jeffery Simmons. Other NFC teams are looking to respond to that move and likely would have been willing to offer more for Nelson and Buckner as the deadline got closer.

Some team executives are wondering why the #Colts were in such a rush to trade Quenton Nelson and DeForest Buckner today with the trade deadline still two weeks away.
Nelson and Buckner were, in the eyes of some, the top G and DT available on this year’s trade market.
The interest — and potentially the value — for both players likely would have increased as the deadline approached and teams entered “now-or-never” mode.
There’s a strong argument that the Colts could’ve gotten more.

The #Seahawks are set to receive a 3rd-round pick for losing Nolan Teasley, who became the #Vikings’ GM.
That gives Seattle an extra 3rd-rounder, so giving up a 3rd for Quenton Nelson is a bit easier.
They’re also expected to receive four compensatory picks in the 2027 draft for losing Kenneth Walker, Tariq Woolen, Kobe Bryant, and Boye Mafe in free agency.
Seattle might not be done. They are loaded with picks.
BREAKING: The #Colts are trading 8× Pro Bowl G Quenton Nelson to the Seattle Seahawks, per @AdamSchefter.
Nelson, one of the best guards in football, joins a 4-3 #Seahawks team in a major trade.
