Tonight, we honor those united women, black and white, northerners and southerners, who for decades suffered and persevered to achieve the Right to Vote for all USA women with the ratification of the Susan B. Anthony Amendment, aka U.S. 19th Amendment. #ForwardIntoLight

Last night, the Arkansas Governor's Mansion illuminated in purple and gold to celebrate the 100th Anniversary of the ratification of the 19th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, recognizing the right of women to vote. We will shine purple & gold through August 26.

We are thrilled to partner with Marine Toys for Tots, an amazing organization that uses the gift of toys to spread a message of love, joy and hope to children here in Arkansas and beyond. We hope to see you Sunday, December 8, at The People’s House.

Asa and I went out tonight to see the River Lights in the Rock lit up in blue! The Main Street, Junction and Clinton Bridges are lighting the skies in blue in honor of April as Child Abuse Prevention Month. Together we can #ShineHope for all to see.
