🚨The American people must be able to trust the impartiality of our Nation's judges. Unfortunately, some judges have breached that trust by taking politically partisan positions that the laws written by Congress should not be enforced against illegal aliens. This @TheJusticeDept will not let that stand.
Impartiality is imperative to ensuring public trust in our Nation’s judiciary. Judge Schiltz’s and Judge Tunheim’s on-the-record participation in a recent highly partisan New York Times Article, along with Judge Schiltz’s subsequent public comments, unquestionably calls into doubt whether they can be impartial in these cases. A judge who has publicly taken a political side on the issue of enforcing our Nation’s immigration laws cannot then preside over a case concerning one of the Justice Department’s key immigration enforcement initiatives.

🚨States and localities are on notice: @TheJusticeDept will never tolerate the doxxing or harassment of federal officers, or any law like those in St. Paul and Portland that enables violent behavior against federal law enforcement officers and their families. Today's suits bring our total number of complaints against States and localities for unlawfully regulating federal law enforcement to 11 . . . and counting👀)
Justice Department Files Complaints Against the Cities of St. Paul and Portland Challenging Mask Ban and Identification Requirements for Federal Officers “Under the Supremacy Clause of our Nation’s Constitution, states and localities cannot regulate the Federal Government and its law enforcement officers,” said @ASGWoodward. “And they certainly cannot enact laws that place the safety of federal law enforcement at risk and undermine federal operations authorized by Congress. This Department of Justice will never tolerate the doxxing or harassment of federal officers, or any law like those in St. Paul and Portland that enables violent behavior against federal law enforcement officers and their families.” 🔗: justice.gov/opa/pr/justice-d…

A privilege and an honor to be with the great @LeoTerrellDOJ kicking off the American Tour Against Hate @AmericanTAH in Southfield, Michigan!!! Hate has no place in this great nation. Under the leadership of @POTUS and @AGToddBlanche we are coming to a city near you. When Americans can not worship without fear, speak without intimidation, or live openly in their faith, the promise of American liberty is diminished for us all.
Today, the Department of Justice Task Force to Combat Anti-Semitism announced the first stop of the American Tour Against Hate will be in Southfield, Michigan on Wednesday, October 14. The Tour is a first-of-its-kind federal initiative, bringing government resources and officials directly to local communities experiencing hate and discrimination. “@POTUS Trump has made clear that this Administration will not tolerate antisemitism, and the Department of Justice is committed to implementing that directive,” said @AGToddBlanche. “This national tour is an important step in ensuring communities across the country know the federal government stands ready to work with them to confront antisemitic threats, protect public safety, and uphold civil rights.” Read more: justice.gov/opa/pr/federal-t…

Beef prices just saw their BIGGEST monthly drop since 2024! 🥩🇺🇸 That marks THREE consecutive months of declining beef prices — welcome progress for American families at the grocery store. Under @POTUS, we’re fighting to lower grocery costs, rebuild America’s cattle herd, strengthen domestic beef production, and put American ranchers FIRST. More work ahead, but we’re moving in the right direction! Read more ⬇️ bloomberg.com/news/articles/…

💪 thank you @glennbeck and @jsolomonReports!
"I have detected, since the beginning of the White House [Government Transparency] Task Force, a new sentiment in the Justice Department, in the prosecutorial world." @jsolomonReports argues that the DOJ is no longer playing around. From federal agencies like HSI driving a case against Ilhan Omar, to grand juries actively targeting high-profile figures, he tells me the era of inaction is over: "I've seen more accountability activity before grand juries and in courts in the last eight weeks than I saw, quite frankly, in the first six years of the two Trump presidencies."

If we offered everyone who were to shoplift a 50% reduction on their college tuition, what would people do? They'd shoplift. An key part of this Administration's legal strategy is reducing the incentives criminals have to come into the country illegally in the first place. @GowdyAmerica @TGowdySC

🚨Today, the Ninth Circuit again affirms what common sense makes clear: California cannot regulate how Federal law enforcement officers carry out their jobs authorized by Congress. Today's decision is a huge WIN for protecting the safety of our Nation's law enforcement officers and ensuring @POTUS's promise to enforce our Nation's immigration laws.

Not only does this settlement hold bad actors accountable for their fraudulent activities, but Americans are safer because of it. Today’s settlement is a significant milestone in @TheJusticeDept’s efforts to combat the opioid epidemic by cracking down on pharmacies who unlawfully fulfill prescriptions for controlled substances.
CVS Agrees to Pay $315M for Illegally Filling Unlawful Opioid Prescriptions and for Submitting False Claims to the Federal Government “Not only does this settlement hold bad actors accountable for their fraudulent activities, but Americans are safer because of it,” said @ASGWoodward. “Today’s settlement is a significant milestone in the Justice Department’s efforts to combat the opioid epidemic by cracking down on pharmacies who unlawfully fulfill prescriptions for controlled substances.” Read more: justice.gov/opa/pr/cvs-agree…

.@ASGWoodward to @FoxNews on the Justice Department's lawsuits against states with illegal policies designed to thwart federal law enforcement: "You cannot have states regulating how federal law enforcement conducts immigration enforcement. That makes zero sense. It's in the Constitution itself that the Supremacy Clause shall allow federal law enforcement to do their jobs."
Today, the Department of Justice filed a lawsuit against the City and County of Denver, Mayor Michael C. Johnston, City Attorney Michiko Ando Brown, and Police Chief Ronald Thomas, challenging their unconstitutional attempt to regulate federal law enforcement officers by prohibiting them from wearing masks and by requiring identification. “We will never tolerate the doxxing or harassment of federal officers, or any law like those in Denver that enable violent behavior against federal law enforcement officers and their families.” -@ASGWoodward 🔗: justice.gov/opa/pr/justice-d…
