Marinovka airfield (Volgograd Oblast): satellite imagery taken after the Neptune missile strike shows the aftermath at two aircraft parking spots used by Su-34s. A Sentinel image from 28 October shows a Su-34 on this very spot, confirming it as a regular parking position. The strike therefore hit places where aircraft were based, not random points on the airfield.

Minus an Iskander in Kursk Oblast On 29 October and during the night of 30 October, units of the Defence Forces of Ukraine hit an Iskander-M operational-tactical missile system (OTRK) launcher in Kursk Oblast, russia, as well as ammunition and logistics depots and enemy repair units. What was hit: 🎯 An Iskander-M OTRK launcher at a ballistic missile reloading area, Fatezh area, Kursk Oblast, russia 🎯 russian army ammunition depots in the areas of Maloianysol, Donetsk Oblast; Novoiehorivka, Kharkiv Oblast; and Hanusivka, Luhansk Oblast 🎯 An occupiers’ materiel and supply depot, Bilovodsk area, Luhansk Oblast 🎯 An enemy repair unit, Rubizhne area, Luhansk Oblast 🎯 A repair and recovery base of the russian aggressor, Pysarivka area, Luhansk Oblast Why it matters: every Iskander-M launcher destroyed reduces the russian army’s capability to carry out ballistic missile strikes on Ukrainian cities. Strikes on repair units hamper the enemy’s ability to restore damaged equipment and return it to the front, while the loss of ammunition depots reduces its firepower. Operations against the enemy’s key military targets will continue until russia’s armed aggression against Ukraine ends completely. To be continued 💥 Glory to Ukraine! 🇺🇦

$100 million: Neptune destroys two enemy Su-34s The destruction of two enemy Su-34 aircraft at Marinovka airfield, in the area of Oktyabrsky, Volgograd Oblast, russia, on 29 October 2026 has been confirmed following a strike by missile troops – specifically, Neptune coastal missile systems of the Ukrainian Navy. The Su-34 fighter-bomber is the main platform for dropping guided aerial bombs (KABs). It can carry up to 8 tonnes of ordnance. The market value of one Su-34 is about USD 50 million. The destruction of such aircraft reduces the enemy’s ability to strike Ukraine’s frontline areas, civilian infrastructure and our warriors’ forward positions with KABs. To be continued. Glory to Ukraine!

New satellite imagery obtained by RFE/RL shows Russia has expanded Gvardiiske airfield in occupied Crimea into a drone-launch hub. Ukrainian military sources say the base was first identified as a launch site in March 2025 and now sends out strike drones almost daily. Imagery from October 11 shows no visible aircraft but extensive new infrastructure and dozens of unidentified objects in the airfield’s southwest. #Crimea

Leaked fragments of the document cementing the local humanitarian ceasefire beteeen Russian and Ukrainian forces around Russia-occupied town of Oleshky in Ukraine's Kherson Oblast. Acccording to the agreement, Ukrainian citizens who expressed a desire to return to non-occupied parts of Ukraine were set to be evacuated to the Anapa Airport in southern Russia, and then transported to Homel in southern Belarus on a Russian military transport plane.
U.S. First Lady Melania Trump says that the geographical area of the humanitarian ceasefire between Russia and Ukraine has expanded beyond Russia-occupied town of Oleshky, within Ukraine's Kherson Oblast, to provide safe passage for the humanitarian convoys. The limited truce is set to last from October 27, 2026, 01:00am UTC, until November 1, 2026, 8:59pm UTC.

🚨🚨🚨 What could be the largest Russian military sealift operation observed so far in 2026 may already be underway from Baltiysk. A fourth cargo vessel, 🇷🇺 LADY R (IMO 9161003), was identified on October 23 satellite imagery at Baltiysk, reportedly loading military equipment, joining ASCALON, LADY D and ANASTASIIA. The vessels could be heading to 🇱🇾 Tobruk (ETA Nov 8-9) or 🇹🇬 Lome (ETA Nov 13-14), assuming an October 24 departure at 10 knots. 🇬🇳 Conakry also remains a possibility. 🇷🇺 SPARTA (IMO 9268710) may also be involved. After delivering military cargo to Tartus, it called at St Petersburg on Oct 11 before heading to Baltiysk, potentially carrying equipment for onward shipment.

On October 27, 2024, servicemen from Rogue Team and Omega Team of the GUR International Legion were tasked with locating and eliminating Russian FSB and SOF DRG groups conducting cross-border ambushes in Ukraine’s Chernihiv and Sumy Oblasts. During the mission, the teams attempted to infiltrate enemy territory but encountered a fortified Russian position near the village of Brahlov in Bryansk Oblast. According to Rogue Team fighter with the callsign "Snow," they had expected a trench position but instead came across a heavily fortified underground bunker with trenches and eight firing positions. "It was like Fort Knox," - "Snow" recalls. Rogue Team split into two main teams: Alpha and Bravo. Rogue Alpha and Omega Team assaulted the fortification from the treeline west of Rogue Bravo. Rogue Bravo then split into two groups, with one advancing to assault the fortification while the other remained behind to provide covering fire. The actions of Rogue Bravo were captured on video by one of its fighters, callsign "Uno." At 05:05, the fighters launched an assault from two directions, throwing grenades into the Russian positions and attempting to storm the fortification. However, they were met with heavy Russian fire. This marked the beginning of the operation's most difficult moments. - Rogue Alpha, which was attacking the fortification from the treeline, came under Russian machine-gun fire and lost two fighters (off-screen). The team leader, Bradley Carl Jennison, callsign "Super Dave," was shot in the chest and died at the scene. Reportedly, Simon Petrik Rajakisto, callsign "Rauta," was wounded in an open field and could not be evacuated due to heavy Russian fire, so he blew himself up to avoid capture. - 16:45 Somewhere around this time, Rogue Bravo fighters again attempted to enter the bunker but failed. - At 17:38 Canadian volunteer Mandeep Singh, callsign "Poet" moved into the open and was wounded by small-arms fire. His comrade, American volunteer Corey John Nawrocki, then attempted to reach "Poet" and drag him to safety under covering fire from the cameraman, but Russian fire killed both men. - 20:24 While attempting to help them, one of the fighters was wounded in the head, possibly in the neck area. With only two fighters remaining at the position, they decided to withdraw to the rear position where the second Rogue Bravo group was stationed and requested covering fire, but received no response. - 22:14 The fighters began retreating under Russian fire. Possibly due to communication problems, their comrades only began providing covering fire at the last moment. - 23:20 The fighters provided first aid to the wounded man and spent the next few minutes trying to contact Omega and Rogue Alpha to request covering fire for their withdrawal. - 32:17 Due to communication problems, the fighters were unable to contact their comrades. However, they spotted members of Omega Team in the treeline and decided to cross the open field directly in front of the Russian positions. - 33:07 The cameraman crosses the open field under Russian fire and enters the treeline. - 35:07 The fighters began retreating through the forested area as Russian forces pursued them. In addition to the difficult terrain, they also encountered barbed wire. One of the fighters got caught on the wire, forcing the group to stop for several minutes. - 42:11 The fighters eventually regrouped with other teams. - 1:10:30 After regrouping with other groups and resting briefly, the soldiers began their withdrawal toward Ukrainian territory. Rogue Team lost four fighters during the operation. 🛡 Bradley Carl Jennison, "Super Dave" - 🇺🇸 🛡 Simon Petrik Rajakisto, "Rauta" - 🇸🇪 🛡 Mandeep Singh, "Poet" - 🇨🇦 🛡 Corey John Nawrocki, "Corey" - 🇺🇸 Unfortunately, their bodies could not be recovered at that time. May they rest in peace, and may their sacrifice never be forgotten.
