I improvised using parts of an old project featuring @derbymuseums exhibits (along with my own scruffy face) for this #MuseumSelfieDay from home!

Just a short update on what I've been doing in 2020 and what I'm aiming to do next year for those who are interested. I hope everyone has a much better 2021! #NewYear #Illustration #weareoca atdrawsink.com/post/end-of-y…

Anyone else feel that they are doing ok in general but still having a terrible sleep cycle that occasionally manifests with fierce anxiety dreams? Personal tips and tricks for peacefully turning off your brain at night are greatly welcomed. I’ve still not cracked it myself.

Cumbersome | Bone | Salvage Had to call it a day before I could fill up a full background or add colour, but I may return to this character again at a later point. Happy Halloween! #Inktober #Drawtober #Artober

Genuine | Spirit | Capture This one is heavily improvised as I get back into the swing of things. The “spirits” are a variation on a way of drawing ghosts that I experimented with last year that still needs a bit more work. #Inktober #Drawtober #Artober

I originally had more elaborate plans for drawings this month that have run away from as I’ve attempted to rediscover a way to enjoy working off brief. So now instead of all that, these last few days i’m doing some simpler drawings using halloween themed prompts!

Its October again and I’ll be making my yearly emergence from the shadows to post some more art challenge illustrations on here. I wont be using the #Inktober format this time as I’ll be finding inspiration from my own randomly generated prompt words instead. More soon! #Artober

Home. 😌 @derbymuseums

Thoroughly enjoyed the #DerbyMuseumsQuiz tonight! Well done to the team @derbymuseums for putting together a smooth operation and to the hosts for holding their nerve in front of the live camera. Loved the audience interaction, hope to see you all again soon after reopening!

I opened the art gallery extension for my museum in Animal Crossing today.😍 ...I might be missing my real job @derbymuseums a bit too much though.😟 #AnimalCrossingNewHorizons #museumsfromhome

Just wrote a line in my coursework about the kinds of people that you meet in public spaces such as bars, resturants and cafe’s. Had to take a moment to try and remember what that’s actually like. What is people? They sound interesting. #lockdown

This afternoon I took a brief break from maintaining some of the real exhibits behind the scenes @derbymuseums to start building up my own virtual museum with Blathers. My interests are never too far apart! #AnimalCrossingNewHorizons #InternationalDayofHappiness #MuseumFromHome

I’ve had “m-m-m-my corona” stuck in my head since this thing began, but I think I’ve found another one for the pandemic parody album. The @WHO / #selfisolation

Finishing a large body of writing that I’ve been stuck on for ages can sometimes feel like lifting a curse. Still lots of work to be done but i’m glad to move on to fully working on the next project. Time is fleeting.

This pud is ready. #Christmaseve

The first day of my @whittarduk advent calendar is off to a good start with whisky infused tea! Admittedly I then had to add a little bit of something into the mix to make some delicious cough medicine. @JackDanielsUK #AdventCalendar #December1st

Day 31: Ripe. I made it to the end on time this year! Thank you for all your support through the daily drawings i’ve been posting this month. #Inktober #Inktober2019 #Illustration #Halloween

Day 30: Caught. What if the monsters studied us? #Inktober #Inktober2019 #Illustration

Day 29: Injured. Got a bit stuck for ideas today, but theres not long left to go now! #Inktober #Inktober2019 #Illustration
