Okay, there was a bit more to it... 😅
Last week was @Ledger Op3n, and for the second year in a row, Ledger N3XT brought students into the room: 30 students from 13 blockchain clubs, two packed days in Paris.
They weren’t just in the audience.
They moderated panels with industry speakers, built during the hackathon, heard Ledger’s announcements first-hand, and spent time with founders, builders and investors they wouldn’t have met otherwise.
And Paris did the rest:
- a morning run alongside the Seine,
- snails and bœuf bourguignon at a French restaurant,
- and an after party some of them had heard about before even landing.
For many, it was their first time in Europe.
What came back the most: the people, and the memories. New friends from campuses they didn’t know 48 hours before.
For me, education goes way beyond a class on campus.
Learning the ecosystem from the inside, and growing as a person. Both count.
Then these students bring it all back to their campus, their club, their peers.
They’re going to shape this industry, and their voice belongs in its biggest moments now.
That’s what we do with Ledger N3XT, with nearly 70 clubs worldwide, all year long.

Earlier this year we opened the Solana Mobile Stack to Android manufacturers at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona and we have been in conversations with hardware expansion partners who serve various markets around the world including @Ledger.
Although this past week has heightened anxiety across the hardware industry we are committed to our expansion plans and our first partner. Even in the face of less than ideal timing we want to keep accelerating growth and stay on schedule.
Ledger announced that this device will contain advanced anti-tampering and tamper-evident solutions from packaging to the device itself, including methods to help detect if the enclosure has been opened. The device will only be sold directly on Ledger’s official site.
Every new device brings more people into the SKR ecosystem. More people bring more builders. And more builders bring better apps, which bring the next wave of people.
Onward.
Our focus this year has been on creating more ways for users to participate in and devs to distribute to our growing SKR ecosystem, and I’m stoked we have our first entry point beyond our own hardware with @Ledger Atom.
