The anti-ESA ballot initiative sets an unfair income cap that removes any family making over $150k annually, resulting in the removal of tens of thousands of students off the ESA program. In today’s economy, $150k isn’t what it used to be. This unrealistic cap doesn’t account for family size and will hit even lower-income families as inflation rises. For example, a firefighter and a nurse earning standard incomes in Arizona would be unable to get an ESA for their children.
