Would also explain why the lad got up and got on with the game, something he's been criticised for by his own fans on here for not making more of it. Old school football we were all raised on, contact sport, shake hands at the end. 馃

If you've watched that game yesterday & come to the conclusion that Perreria was the problem then football isn't for you. The lads had 3 different 'wingers' playing Infront of him in the last 4 games. He's been solid enough & would clearly benefit from a settled partnership #wba
Diakitie was absolutely outstanding yesterday, game changed for us the minute he came on, he was everywhere, even driving us forward. 1st name on team sheet for me, everybody in CM immediately looks 10x better with him, Inc Molumby 2nd half. No coincidence. 馃憦馃徎馃憦馃徎 #wba
O'Leary superb, that game would've easily been 4-5 without him. Heggebo is terrible. Styles had to play left, lost all momentum on that side without him. Price poor and set pieces abysmal. Collyer had to start. Molumby limited. Tunde is crap. Mozza been fantastic but today 馃挬
We've gone from 3-4 seasons with hardly any possession to now a team that likes to have the ball. That now requires some patience for us to get it right, that's not happening in 7 games. As frustrating as it is V Charlton/QPR to drop points, it's a reality check of where we are.
Unbelievable effort, team spirit, fight l & pride tonight! Mozza has got that Megson-esq mentality within the group 馃挭馃徎.We have a team to be proud of for the first time in a long time. Huge credit to the magnificent away suppor, Since Mozza took over they've been 12th man #wba
A controlled 1st half, 2nd half we haven't been great. Unlucky with the goals conceded but haven't really carried a threat 2nd half... Still more points on the board then I thought after 3 games, back to back home games to kick on again. Plenty to remain positive about. #wba
Would much rather have signed a younger left back just like we did with Townsend himself first time around (25).. Whether it's low wages or not, still huge risk on a 33yr old coming back from ACL and not played since last August! Hope this doesn't bite us on the arse. #wba
For all Rooney's faults as a manager, he's talked a lot of sense this tournament and tonight impressed with him calling Tuchel out for costing us the game. Too many have kissed his arse too soon in this tournament. 1 half v Croatia & Mexico performance aside we've been average.
