My view of the top dozen free-agent relievers — six right-handers and six left-handers — the Twins should go after if they're actually serious about fixing the bullpen: aarongleeman.com/twins-free-…

"You Can See Everything" is amazing. Among the best, and weirdest, movie-going experiences I've ever had. One of those movies where everyone stands out in the hallway after leaving the theater and talks about it. a24films.com/films/you-can-s…

Prime example of why @JaceFrederick is my pick for Minnesota's most underrated sports writer. Does a great job blending reporting and analysis, and also comes up with creative ideas like this one to keep things fresh over the course of a long season. xitter.cf/JaceFrederick/status/2…

New podcast! Special guest Thad Levine joins us to talk about his eight years as #MNTwins general manager and take us behind the scenes of an MLB front office at the trade deadline. This might be my favorite episode we've ever done. So fun. Listen here: patreon.com/posts/trade-dead…

Some thoughts on the Twins' new pitching coach Brian Reith and a look at Brooks Lee's midseason move from shortstop to third base working remarkably well: aarongleeman.com/twins-notes…

Twins notes: New pitching coach Brian Reith and Brooks Lee's golden move to third base

Reith was the Triple-A pitching coach in the Rays' organization and replaces Pete Maki, who was fired by the Twins after they ranked 25th in ERA this season.

Twins have hired Brian Reith as their new pitching coach. He replaces Pete Maki, who was let go last month. Reith, who pitched briefly in the majors for the Reds from 2001-2004, spent the past five seasons as the Triple-A pitching coach in the Rays' farm system.

Brooks Lee named a Gold Glove finalist at third base, which is remarkable considering he moved there in mid-May after struggling at shortstop. Lee went from a weakness to a strength in the field, and from mid-May forward he was the Twins' best defender. xitter.cf/RawlingsSports/status/…

I think the Twins' three biggest roster holes this offseason are the exact same as their three biggest roster holes last season. Now we'll see if they make the same mistakes again: aarongleeman.com/what-are-th…

What are the Twins' biggest offseason needs?

Three glaring roster weaknesses require outside help, and the Twins can't afford to repeat the same mistake as last offseason by ignoring their largest holes.

Sam Fuld was offered the A’s job as president of baseball operations but declined to take it and has withdrawn from consideration, sources tell ESPN. Fuld, who was previously GM of Philadelphia, will remain in his current role as president of business operations for the Phillies.
