Hobbling along in your Christian life without good Christians friends could be spiritually fatal for a dad. But what’s the big deal? What could be so fatal about being a friendless father? 🧵👇

I like the part in The Acolyte Ep.3 where we learn that a child's desires shift and change like the seasons and they should consider that before pursuing irreversible Jedi assignment surgery.

I'm studying Hebrews 12:18-29 for our Wednesday Bible study, which brought mind Isaac Watts's hymn, "We're Marching to Zion." His original poem had a total of 10 stanzas, but only 4 are typically published in our hymnals. Some of the missing stanzas are worth singing!

Yea, and before we rise, To that immortal state, The thoughts of such amazing bliss, Should constant joys create. Refrain: We're marching to Zion, Beautiful, beautiful Zion; We're marching upward to Zion, The Beautiful city of God.

@JoelWBerry,(Joel Berry) Managing Editor of the @TheBabylonBee wrote an article that got the Bee Banned from Twitter in 2022. Which was the final straw in causing @elonmusk to start pursuing purchasing Twitter. In this episode, Joel gives the behind the scenes of what went down in this epic story. We also talk about the importance of comedy, truth, and faith. This is one that you will want to watch in full. THANK YOU youtu.be/DXF9f0VWgwU

The Christian Super Bowl Ad They SHOULD Have Made A group known as 'He Gets Us' released an advert during the Super Bowl which, whilst perhaps well intentioned, failed to convey anything of the gospel to the hundreds of millions who saw it. Here's my take on what they should have done. #HeSavesUs

Charles Bridges on our preaching being influenced by the fear of man: "A Minister under this deteriorating influence will be chiefly exercised in general truths devoid of particular application—more in what is pleasing than what is direct and useful.

The oldest known depiction of the Crucifixion of Jesus seems to be some Roman graffiti from about the year 200 AD. It's called the Alexamenos Graffito and it's a mockery of Christianity - Jesus has the head of a donkey and the words say: "Alexamenos worships his God."
