‼️ A State Department Spokesperson:
We are aware of reports of Jordanian strikes in southern Syria.
We take all reports of civilian casualties, including children, seriously and extend our condolences to the families of those killed.
We remain in regular contact with our Jordanian and Syrian partners on regional security, including the security of their shared border. As a matter of practice, we do not detail private diplomatic conversations.
Jordan is a close and valued partner of the United States, and we support Jordan's right to defend its borders and its people against cross-border threats.
We support continued cooperation between Jordan and Syria to confront the armed groups and trafficking networks that threaten both countries. A stable, sovereign Syria that poses no threat to its neighbors is critical to regional stability.
Regards,
Former Jordanian minister Muhannad Mubaidin: Since 2011, the only things coming from Syria to Jordan have been terrorism and Captagon.

Today's air strike in Syria mirrors the 2015 Jordanian attack in Syria.
Both campaigns were part of efforts to unify the nation and were launched shortly after attacks by Islamic extremists: the Karak church shooting and ISIS's burning of pilot Kasasbeh

The Nashama have chased them to the very end. We vowed the terrorists would not escape punishment, and no proponent of dark ideologies that divide Jordanians will be tolerated. We pray that the martyrs’ souls rest in peace and wish the injured a speedy recovery.

Odd @QueenNoor post saying it's "too early to know what actually happened in the Karak tragedy. We are all waiting for news."
It's clear that an awful terrorist attack was behind the killing of Christians in Karak. What is her other explanation?

At least 7 people killed in shooting at church in Jordan, public security agency says

An irresponsible @AlArabiya_Eng post. There is no evidence that West Bank or Gaza violence caused this terrorist attack.
If a Jordanian is upset about West Bank violence, then killing Christians inside a Karak church makes little sense.
