Please have some respect and check with an account before using them to promote your business adverts. If this continues much more, I will simply block people. Do ask. I may want to endorse you. Just don’t assume I will.
Springer nature, certainly can’t save the world. They can’t even keep a database confidential.
Thank you for informing me that you’ve been hacked and that you have leaked all our information. Information I did not actually supply but that you took from another source.
Who can save the world? In this #SocSciMatters blog, Jonathan Michie, co-editor of @Palgrave's 'Why the Social Sciences Matter' discusses the vital role of the social sciences in addressing the current threats and opportunities facing society: bit.ly/3RjlIQq
At the time, I informed you that I wanted my data deleted under GDPR and you kept it in place.
You have a serious problem @SpringerNature

I didn`t start my academic career until I was 30.
I didn`t obtain my PhD until I was 35.
At 20, I thought my life was over🎗️
At 42, I know it`s just the beginning & I signed the contract for my permanent position (tenure track/ assistant professor).
It is never too late to start.

Here's another for you @SuellaBraverman. 18 year old boy from Enfield. His Mum dies and he has no family. He ends up homeless living in a shed. He gets my contact details and I help him. I put him in the Travelodge on the A10 for 2 weeks until I can find him a room in a housing association. I knew the staff so this was possible. He was scared, cold, wet, and starving when I picked him up. He cried for hours. Anyhow we looked after him and now he's doing a degree in engineering. It was not a lifestyle choice for him. And I'm sure he'd be more than happy to educate you on this.
Saw a horrible post mocking the kidnapping of children.
I don’t care what your political affiliation is but that is too far.
Kidnapping and murder is NEVER justified.

This is terrifying. If this was one of the men on this platform - you need help immediately

There are people who type questions into the void purely for account traction. It’s time wasting and annoying. If you were interested in the answers you’d respond. We see you and repeat offenders will be blocked.

It's not okay to offer funding where the recipient uses their own money first and is reimbursed later. This barrier puts serious pressure on those in less privileged positions. Many struggle (silently) or lose out completely. Reduce inequity by offering resources up front.

Getting drunk with your students unwise. Also teens of today - I, an old lady, drank most of you under the table. This
Shows me
You have spent your life more wisely than we did
I need to check my eyes! Saw a post where someone suggested doctors get paid for peer review! 😂 if only.

My academia-related suggestions are
- remember, Ph.D. is not a 24x7 job
- Learn to "ask for help" and "say no"
- Powering through never helps
- Remind yourself every day that there is also life beyond academia

I was today years old when I found out that if you save your document with footnotes in .html, and you open it with your browser, all your footnotes will be grouped at the end of the document like endnotes. It's a game changer for final edits!
