There is a 60+ year old summer baseball tournament in northwest Ohio that you cannot buy a registration for. You have to earn it.
In a world where everybody is staring at a screen, a couple weeks of July that a family remembers for fifty years is about the rarest thing going.

ACME State Tournament in Greenville in 2006 or 2007.
We “got to” make that trip about 5 or 6 times that year.
Great atmosphere and lots of fun!
Thank YOU ACME Baseball!

What’s one moment from ACME baseball you’ll never forget?
We want to hear it. ACME community, players, families, fans near and far, past and present.
Repost it. Like it.
Could be this year, 5 years ago or from 1976. Let’s hear it.

You couldn’t script a better ending to the ACME State Tournament. I got the Acme internship in the spring, with no expectations of watching Fairview play for the state title. With bases loaded, down 2 runs, bottom of the 7th, my brother steps up to the plate. The rest is history.
Top of the seventh in Kalida last night. The Brunswick boys ask for a song for their dad. The whole ballpark sings loud enough for him to hear it. Lou Brunswick, this one’s for you.
