We are fighting to protect against unauthorized digital replication for all #SagAftraMembers, living or deceased. This legislation ensures deceased performers will not perform in new works without the consent of their loved ones. #SagAftraStrong
SAG-AFTRA introduced two new bills to protect performers against AI:
• The first bill would require detailed consent for the use of performers’ “digital replicas” in films, video games, commercials and more.
• The second bill would prevent studios from putting deceased performers in movies without the consent of their heirs.
