What it takes to win a title in CFB has changed a lot the last five years. Meanwhile at OU we’ve refused to adapt, demand excellence, or hold coaches accountable.
Kentucky dance on our field. Ole Miss and Mizzou are better programs.
National afterthought.
Disgusting.

Bob Stoops lost his 7th home game in his 16th season. Barry Switzer's 7th home loss came in his 11th season. Brent Venables reached seven home losses 11 seasons faster than Stoops and 6 faster than Switzer.
I am SHOCKED that Texas fans are the most delusional.
🚨 SEC FAN DELUSION INDEX 🚨
I analyzed SEC fans’ Reddit predictions from 2021–2026 to see how optimistic they are compared to Vegas expectations and actual results.
Two approaches:
1) one based on predicting wins directly
2) the other on predicting final scores.
Texas ranks #1 in BOTH.
And respect to the demoralized fans consistently underestimating their teams 🙌
Wish we could go back to top 25 Big East teams playing on Thursday night.
Instead we have a 24-team playoff ruining the sport.

What makes you think Brent Venables will be the exception to the rule?
Love the guy, but if you haven’t sniffed a title by now, it’s very unlikely you ever will.
I didn’t want Lincoln Riley to leave. But as I mentioned on a recent episode of @TheMainLinePod1 only two coaches have won their first national championship past year 4 in the last 20 years. Riley was on year 5.
If this is what it takes to get number 8 for OU then so be it.

Me watching 13 straight hours of college football on Saturday as the sport faces a daily existential crisis.

College football is awesome because these 2 guys look 20 years apart and play the same sport 😭

RUSSELL 💙 🧡
To a legend on and off the floor, congrats on retirement and thank you for everything you gave to the city @russwest44
My wife married me so she had someone to tag on all those Instagram giveaways without feeling bad.
Haven’t won anything yet.
