This election season, vote for candidates who are pro-markets and pro-capitalism. Those who oppose an overbearing nanny state, reject socialism, support strong borders, believe criminals should be punished, refuse to pit classes of people against each other & are bullish America

Thinking about building an off grid studio on our property, there's lots of cool options and they actually don't cost too much. Anyone have experience building something like this? Seems like with solar + battery it could be really simple too

After a bunch of planning, design and paperwork I pulled some guys off data center construction to build my new office / music / podcast studio - land cleared and site prepped, inspection on Friday then they can pour cement. It's time to build

Good advice from @micsolana ... cheer up kids, we don't live all that long. Delete Instagram, stop comparing yourself to fake lives of people who aren't even happy

people are actually arguing on X that the cash back you get from using a credit card is some sort of evil shady government "good boy points" system, instead of what it is, which is a direct wealth transfer from people who are bad with money to people who are good with money.

Reminder not having a long commute is one of the biggest life upgrades. You never normalize against this, like you would a very good or very bad event (the commuting paradox, described in the Scandinavian Journal of Economics). Moving closer to work or going remote is worth it

Genuinely sad to see chaos, violence & destruction across the EU, in some of the world's most beautiful places w/the richest history. Insane leaders allow this to continue. Europe deserves better. End policies enabling this, enforce laws, don't let mobs hold civilization hostage
