Big, big deal. Might even impact selection of turfgrasses.

River Bluff Farms opened up the farm last Friday and showed off the Durban® Seashore Paspalum they’ve been growing this season.
Two South African rugby players even joined the field day in full kit and talked about playing on paspalum back home where they simply call it “Durban grass.”
Seeing nearly 10 acres of Durban about 95% ready was pretty exciting. River Bluff is a grower of Durban in South Carolina, and it’s been great watching this field take shape.
Big thanks to the River Bluff team for having us out and putting on such a great day.

A huge thank you to our incredible crew for the countless hours, hard work, and attention to detail that went into preparing the MLB at Field of Dreams game for tonight’s game. It takes a special team to turn an active farm into a Major League playing surface, and you delivered.
