Going all in for Trump and against the climate will not save Toyota.
Check out this insightful piece from @nytimes!

In his short time in office, @berniemoreno has done more to pollute our air and accelerate climate change than perhaps any senator in history, working to roll back nearly every clean air standard in our country.
Now he has the chutzpah to do this.

This is the same exact reductive critique that the right uses to shut down critiques of America. They say "If you don't like it, then leave."
No. We critique both America and the Democratic Party because we want them to be better, to live up to the ideals they have forgotten.

And let me be clear: I don’t care if you’re progressive, moderate, or conservative.
I’ve worked with Democrats across the ideological spectrum. We didn’t always agree, but we understood that building a stronger Democratic Party was part of the job.
If you hate the party, spend your days attacking it, and have contempt for all the people who make it possible, then see above.
Comparing DSA to the KKK should disqualify you from anyone ever taking you seriously again.
DSA candidates are running on Democratic Party ballot lines. Just like we would expect the Republican Party to not allow KKK candidates to run on the Republican line, Democrats should not allow DSA candidates to run on the Democratic line.
If we let skunks into our big tent, we will ruin the party for all.
I don't know what's more shocking: that the Toyota chair just admitted he may be tanking his company's future or that he's doing it because he likes the smell of gasoline and engines that go "vroom vroom."
This is days before its shareholder meeting.

I was listening to the Mismatch yesterday morning and ran into Jacoby last night at a bar in NYC watching the Knicks! Really nice dude and taller than I expected. Came straight from the airport and had his suitcase with him. @ChrisVernonShow

👀"If Graham Platner – oysterman, veteran and alleged prep-school kid – weren’t advocating for broad revolt against America’s economic elite, both The New York Times and the Wall Street Journal would have left him alone. But he’s the ultimate Democratic nightmare for the same reason he’s the ultimate Republican nightmare: A super articulate, well-read working man who speaks in full paragraphs, wears his pain on his sleeve, has a house full of firearms and has openly espoused a government that puts working people first. He’s Bernie Sanders with two combat tours and an oyster grant."
Last week I sat down with controversial senate confidante Graham Platner. Afterwards, my main question was whether Platner and Politicians like him can save the Democratic Party.
Find out in my new article “I JUST HAD BREAKFAST WITH GRAHAM PLATNER.” Now available on my Substack.

The thing about libel is it has to be untrue.
A Jewish baby born today in a West Bank community will have full rights in Israel, a vote in national elections, and access to civilian courts; a Palestinian baby born in that same community will have no democratic rights, tight restrictions on their movement, frequent harassment from settlers, and no access to justice beyond what Israel’s unaccountable military courts mete out.
That’s apartheid. It’s just literally apartheid.
If you think apartheid is really evil, such that it’s a terrible thing to say about a country, well, you’re right, it is. That’s why we have an issue here.

Destroying the @InternetArchive's @WayBackMachine would be the equivalent of the burning of the Library of Alexandria - one of the worst losses of knowledge in history.
Media giants are now threatening to do this.
We can't let this happen.
Pass it on.
