I remember being enthused with energy myself after seeing the list. Had nothing to do with it personally but yeah seeing professionals engaging with active politics was a step in the right direction.
With the new @BJYM national team announced, my journey as National Co-Incharge, BJYM Policy, Research & Training comes to an end. 5+ years with PRT. 3+ years as National Co-Incharge. What began in 2021 as an unconventional idea grew into policy consultations, border village surveys, digital training and a contribution to forums like Y20 India 2023. But what stays with me is the people, the trust and the opportunity. For someone from a small township in Chhattisgarh with no political lineage, that is what makes the BJP a party with a difference. Grateful to PM Shri @narendramodi ji, Shri @JPNadda ji, @NitinNabin ji and Shri @blsanthosh ji. Special thanks to Shri @Tejasvi_Surya and Shri @Varun_Jhaveri , and to every colleague and volunteer who built this from scratch. The responsibility ends. The commitment doesn't. 🪷 Pls read the story of how young professionals can make an impact in politics and governance. suyashpande.substack.com/p/b… #BJYM #BJP #PRT #Policy #Research

A good read. Do not conclude without knowing what happened in the past. We have come a long way. Let's not undo the progress just because a handful of people start taking to streets.

If not acted swiftly, it will result in an irreparable and irreversible loss! We don't want Bihar to be hyphenated with Punjab for the drug menace. More so as, Bihar is the youngest of Indian states, with more than 70% population below 35 years of age.
The menace of sukha nasha in Bihar is a silent crisis. It stays under the radar until it spirals out of control, leaving us with knee-jerk reactions instead of timely intervention. In my article dated 25 February 2026, I called for a three-pronged strategy: prevention through awareness, strict enforcement against the drug trade, and rehabilitation of those affected. This is a silent war on our human resources. We must act before our greatest asset becomes our greatest liability. This has been brewing up for quite some time now. Smackiya, called locally in Bihar, are seen all over public places. We have invited this upon us- when state capacity is minimal, you don't rush into spending it on such bans. A rethink is required #Bihar indianexpress.com/article/ex…

Complete lack of understanding and love for berating Bihari on display here. One can find out from tonality that these guys aren’t Bihari, but you need to find out a villain and a punching bag. Bihar and Bihari remains a punching bag for many. Sad!
Bihari's come to Bengal and engage in such disgraceful behaviour. These Norties come to Kolkata to show off their dadagiri, block footpaths and consume in*toxicants in public. The moment a Bengali stood his ground the so-called Bihari “sher” ran away 😂

Such people make me realise how far we are from still cultivating National Consciousness- राष्ट्रीय चित्ती, as defined by Deen Dayal Ji. Good to see proactive response from @KirenRijiju sir. It is our duty to cultivate the national consciousness with our every single step.
This evil man will be punished. There was delay in lodging the official complaint but Delhi Police and Tripura Police will teach him a hard lesson. People who tolerate such wicked behavior in the society are also responsible for the spread of hatred.

Bal Thackeray Sahab would be cursing this guy. He is just not erratic but a definite shame for the country.

A personal thanks to Sharjeel Imam for saying this as it is. Remember, smart ones push Hs to make space for Islamic ideas to forge unity. From Non-cooperation/Khilafat movement to truncating Vande Mataram to losing out Kashmir(demographically)- irreversible patterns at play!
1/5 Sharjeel Imam has given an interview detailing his Islamist manifesto. Surprisingly, no storm has been kicked up over pronouncements that are so unapologetically anti-liberal, anti-secular, anti-democracy, anti-Constitution—in a word, anti-national. 2/5 He openly calls the Constitution fascist, labels secularism a trap, and denounces democracy as a contrivance to deny Muslims their political rights. 3/5 The piece is a litany of indictments against the liberal class. Imam rejects any difference between liberals and Hindutvadis. In his essentialist worldview, all Hindus are the same, unanimous in denying Muslims political power they claim as a divine right. 4/5 Inadvertently, Sharjeel has recognised something that liberals have been fighting shy of acknowledging: that Hindutva’s idea of India is anchored in the same “overarching nationalist framework”— that Muslims are Indians above all else. 5/5 For more, read this Opinion article by Ibn Khaldun Bharati, who looks at Islam from an Indian perspective: Sharjeel Imam’s Islamist manifesto will be forgotten. The silence of liberals will not theprint.in/opinion/sharjeel…

You are wrong Mr Bose @Chandrakbose Durga Puja as well as Navratri is our cultural, religious and civilisational heritage. It is all the three at once and incomplete without any one of it. Religion feeds into culture and culture feeds into civilization. It’s a virtuous cycle.
Just to set the records straight… For all non-Bengalis who confuse Durga Puja (of Bengal) with Navaratri (outside Bengal), there's a simple big difference in the way it's celebrated. While Navaratri could be religious (as people claim it to be), Durga Puja is a cultural festival. There's a remarkable difference between religion and culture. Why is Durga Puja not religious, but cultural? Here's a Bongs take! 1. For most Bengalis, they have nothing to do with devotion, and everything to do with celebration. Religion (as it has become) is an organized way to deal with devotees, and the Bengalis are far far away from any sort of blind beliefs. 2. God/Goddess is an image that's alienated from family of our own lives and seen as an authority. To Bengalis, Durga is just a part of our family. She could be termed as the Goddess, but never seen with a God-like image. There's way more love than devotion. It's a very human connection. She's the daughter of the house who's come for Autumn break to her parents house with kids and friends 3. While people outside Bengal may fast as much as they like, Bengalis will continue to feast on Mutton Biriyanis and all sorts of delicious non-veg food (even at Puja premises where organizers often arrange for meals). Had there been any religious angle, things might not have been so simple. 4. Durga Puja as a festival is deeply connected to arts, crafts, music, theater, films ... everything! It's an all-round celebration. Only a very tiny percentage of people would bother to offer prayers. For the rest of us, Durga and the spirit of Durga puja is all in our heart. Even if we offer 'Anjali' (a prayer), our eyeballs hover all over the surrounding beauties in laal-paar-sada-sarees (a beautiful dress that ladies prefer to wear). 5. Durga puja is all-inclusive. Many Muslims in Bengal celebrate it too. Even there are religious Muslims who are the Presidents and Secretaries of Puja committees. No 'religious' festival could ever break these barriers! 6. There are hundreds of government and private awards given for 'Best Puja'. Not a single parameter in judgement relates to the devotion aspect of it. The Best Puja judgement takes into consideration the artistic finesse of the idol-making, the decorations around it, the lights, the sound, the safety measures, the theme, the concept, the social relevance of the theme, etc. It never considers how devotedly people offer prayers. So, devotion doesn't even come in our way of celebrating Durga Puja. For those who have never witnessed Durga puja in Kolkata but have a lot to comment on it, please do make a visit. Your idea of a festival will change. Our country had no religion, but we thrived on our culture. It's time we pack religions into the sacks and throw them back to the western world (from where it has come) and fall back on our all-inclusive cultural ways of celebrating life once again. Shakt belt- Durga Pooja and Pandal are an elemental part of growing up in Bihar. #JaiMataDi
I held this back on purpose for three days. Durga Puja in the neighbouring states of Bihar and Jharkhand can become a cynosure of all eyes too. Attached first are two short videos of a puja marquee in Kalyanpur, the most-talked-about pandal in Bihar. The third video is a compilation of the top 5 Durga Pujas in Jharkhand. Notably, the artisans who construct these marquees in Bihar and Jharkhand are brought from West Bengal, which is why you see a continuity in the architectural approach.

Cannot berate the idea of "Civilizational Hindu" just because someone chooses to define it as per his convenience. Religion, rituals, and reforms are all part of civilization. It is very wrong to leave out every word just because liberals start using it for their justification.
Great demonstration of why the idea of 'Cultural/'Civilizational Hindu' etc is bunkum. Our Gods are real. There is no 'Culture' without God at the center for a Hindu. Liberal atheism is not Hindu.

Ability to hold two opposing ideas in mind at the same time and retaining the ability to function is a sign of first rate intelligence but sincerely believing in two contradictory ideas at the same time (a Drèze fangirl who wants manufacturing renaissance) is called Doublethink. Hindi mein bole to Doglapan.
"Pushed manufacturing"? Yea right, I guess the 2014 Make in India promise of 25% share of manufacturing in GDP was achieved. No? Yea, because it actually went down. Decade of PLI, make in India, lion logos - and share has still decreased lmao. Also please, comparing Sanyal to Jean Dreze is like comparing a WhatsApp forward with a peer-reviewed article. Sanyal doesn't have the qualification, aptitude, or moral integrity to be compared to Dreze. At best, Sanyal is a fiction writer - AT BEST.

Might sound a bit regionalist but will stick my neck out and agree. Nothing comes closer to the magnanimous pandals and decorated streets of Kolkata in Durga Puja. May be my bias also comes from the affinity and cultural semblance of Puja in Bihar.
No festival in India is as creative, as massive & as aesthetic as Durga Puja of Calcutta. The failure of Bengalis to market it as good as Dandiya, Onam or Ganpati. Everything is linked to economic progress. The Entire East loses.

AI is taking the world by storm. It is transforming every aspect of life as we know it. And all of us have our share of questions about AI. What will the future of jobs be? How will AI radically impact the economy and society? Does AI have consciousness? Will AI agents in the future have legal rights like human beings? Watch this fascinating conversation with IISc professor, AI researcher and entrepreneur Dr. @prathoshap where I’ve asked all of these questions.
