“We’ll take what we can” Race recap from Circuit of The Americas, where a promising weekend ended just outside the points for @HulkHulkenberg. After showing solid pace throughout practice and narrowly missing out on Q3 in qualifying, Nico's race was compromised right at the start when a technical issue dropped him from P11 to P15, leaving the German with a difficult recovery ahead. “Unfortunately, we lost some ground at the start when the car briefly went into anti-stall, which was a strange one because it happened a few metres after getting off the line rather than straight away. It felt and sounded a bit unusual, so we'll need to look into what happened and understand why,” said Nico Hulkenberg. Despite the setback, Nico fought his way back through the field to finish P11, showing that the pace was there even after a difficult start 💪 “Our pace was pretty similar to the cars around us, particularly the Racing Bulls, but once you're behind, it's difficult to recover. It's hard to say what might have been possible with a normal start, but the midfield remains incredibly close. We'll take what we can from this weekend and head to Mexico for another go." Over the past three episodes, we've followed the journeys of John Paul Southern Jr. Racing, Luca Magnussen and Marcus Terkildsen, sharing the stories behind the race results and highlighting what it really takes to build a career in motorsport. He took pole, lost the first race to a technical issue, picked up a puncture on that Sunday, then fought all the way back from the tail of the field to third. “We got the most out of it” Race recap from Barcelona, where our brand ambassador @KevinMagnussen and BMW M Team WRT secured another solid points finish in the FIA World Endurance Championship! The Dane and his teammates fought their way from P16 to P7, collecting valuable points for the Drivers' Championship 💪 Heavy rain made conditions extremely tricky, with incidents bringing out the Safety Car twice in the opening 30 minutes. But Kevin, who started the race, stayed out of trouble and steadily moved up the order as the track dried before handing over to his teammates. The BMW trio eventually reached P5 before the final round of pit stops saw them finish seventh. “I think we got the most out of a pretty challenging weekend. After the change in weather and the heavy rain, we knew the start could be chaotic, but we managed to stay out of trouble, worked our way well through the field and were running in the top five at one point,” said Kevin Magnussen. “Unfortunately, the final round of pit stops didn't work in our favour, but seventh place still gives us some good championship points. Now we're looking ahead to the finale, where hopefully we can finish the season on a high,” he added. And there's more good news!
