Hey ol’ pal @JeffMarek! Re: “Defending Stanley Cup Champions” and having to beat the champs to be the champs…I’ve thought about this my whole life, with the caveat being that the championship team must keep their roster (no trades!) in their defending season, in order to truly be the defending champions! What do you think @notorioustid ?! @thesheethockey

Minutes before NXT went live on Tuesday night, the texts started coming in that Eddie Osbourne had passed away. Absolutely shocked and saddened - we’ve been friends since we were like 17. Given our similar size and styles, we feuded and wrestled each other A LOT in all types of matches, for his company and many others. Knowing you were working with “Besh,” as we called him (short for Mike Becherer), meant you were going to get to try whatever ideas you had, get some great ideas from him, have fun, see what happens, and get better. There are many of us, some of us who you know and some you may not have heard of, who owe a lot to Besh for giving us WEEKLY shows to workshop whatever we needed in a low stress environment in front of a live crowd. Besides that, by the mid-2000s our circles of friends got pretty close. Unfortunately, we didn’t keep in touch too much after both of us left Ontario. I think that’s the hardest part, is that my memories are of us as just kids in our 20s with all our hopes and dreams. If there’s a bad word to be said about him, it’s unbeknownst to me. I can’t imagine what others closer to him are feeling. My thoughts are with his friends, family, and the Canadian wrestling community. We’re gonna miss you, brother. 🤟🏾

RIP “Sign Guy” Rick Achberger
Saddened to hear of the death of Rick Achberger, known to the WWE Universe as ‘Sign Guy.’ For decades, Rick was a fixture at events holding a sign that expressed exactly how he felt about you that given evening. He will be missed by the entire @WWE family. We send condolences to his family and friends.
If you’re new to watching WWE, UFC, NFL, NHL, etc and you don’t understand the rules, pay attention to the referees and the play-by-play commentary. Rules can also change in all of these companies, but we’ll explain! So, do you think Saquon genuinely didn’t understand the rules? Or, do you think he is trying to sneak one in behind the ref’s back like old times? Let me know in the comments! #wwe #wwenxt #wweraw #smackdown
