When they come back from Washington, European leaders must get serious. All talk about ceasefire, peace agreements, security guarantees is empty if Trump doesn't apply pressure on Putin. Which he won't.
They must draw the consequence and double down their military support.

Trump won't pressure Putin until the GOP pressures Trump, if then. For its own security, Europe must accept reality, that the US has essentially allied with Russia, and step up with military aid and sanctions instead of living in a fantasyland where Trump suddenly changes 180°.

Poland says this since many years. And for many years Western Europe didn't take it seriously, believing that Putin's Russia just craved recognition and wanted to be a partner to the West. Now it's obvious that Poland was right and not just driven by neurotic feelings.
