Dear Sir, I am Divyanshu Ganatra, founder of Adventures Beyond Barriers Foundation, a seven-year-old not-for-profit organisation committed to the inclusion and empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (PwDs) in the mainstream. I write to you regarding the urgent vaccination crisis faced by PwDs across India. PwDs have been the world's worst-affected minority during the pandemic. Along with being highly susceptible to COVID-19, PwDs struggle to get vaccinated due to immense financial and logistical issues. The accessibility barriers in accessing the COVID - 19 vaccines from the online registration to physical barriers at vaccination centres prove to be yet another obstacle for PwDs to get vaccinated and play their part in containing the pandemic in India.
