I think GG has a lot of potential. and since I want GG to become more popular, I suggested to Arc System works that they make us the publisher for Strive. As a result, we are now publishing in all areas except Japan and the US. Also, we have no say in the creative process (the only thing I mentioned was the visibility of the title logo). Although not yet in the 10 million copies per title class like MK, TK, and SF, this is still the first time the GG series has sold over a million copies (and has now sold over 2.5 million copies worldwide). I still believe GG can grow. To begin with, Arc System Works' persistent efforts in applying the polygon technology developed for GG Xrd to the game screen expression using “Japanese anime-style Cel-Shader,” made possible an expression that could be called a craftsmanship. Bandai Namco, which had focused on this point, put the DB IP on top of this technology, and as expected, the fusion of a well-known IP and their technology resulted in the 10 million-selling DBFZ title. In other words, Arc System Works has the potential to create something of that caliber if given a brand (name recognition), publishing power (marketing power), and financial power (development budget). DBFZ is clearly a case in point. Not only is DB itself a well-known brand that has been marketed worldwide even before its release, but the development budget was provided by Namco Bandai, a large corporation, so the environment and resources were there for a hit (This is similar to Bandai Namco Studios developing Smash Bros. with the support of Nintendo, a well-known IP, and Mr. Sakurai). Arc System Works has a high level of knowledge of Cel-Shader, craftsmen, and excellent game designers. What they need is the ability to expand their branding worldwide, in other words, the ability to receive publishing power and financial support. (Incidentally, GGST is partially published by Namco Bandai, but the company does NOT fund its development.) Of course, there are those who may argue that the game content is too maniacal, or that it needs to be simpler to be accepted by the general public. However, these are the opinions of those who have purchased and played the game, and I am talking about the stage before reaching that point of discussion. In other words, I am talking about the fact that the existence of Guilty Gear, the charm of the characters, the animation that makes you want to operate the game at least once when you look at it, and the charm of the game screen are not yet well known before reaching that point. (For example, if you look at the branding of the Tekken series, 50% of which is sold in Europe, you will find a very good example of how the brand is established in Europe for reasons prior to the system and fun of the fighting game. Well, I'm not going to talk about this now.) It is even possible that the first entrance, the trigger entrance, for GG's appeal is not a competitive game. If a big company with excellent publishing power handles GG, they can do various things simultaneously as an IP, not as a game by itself. .... (I'm sure many people got into the MK series before the game because of the appeal of the characters, including many guest characters.) Anyway, I'm just saying that it's an IP that still has a lot of potential. Well, I know there are some fans who don't like the idea of this kind of content becoming a super-majority, but I personally want more people to know the appeal of GG, and I want more people to know the appeal that overflows from this screen. Also, I think there are still many people who have never experienced the charm of GG, including its music. Well, personally, but then again, everyone should see the #GGST play footage. Well, I think it's a rare work that achieves something very difficult in a stylish way. It's just like all the developers are craftsmen.

We need to see a collab between yourself and Ishiwatari-San. Can you imagine, two fighting game development legends, working together?
