"It is not about it being the cheaper option, it is actually the only option."
@BBGIntelligence Dushyant Shahrawat on why stablecoins fit agent commerce:
Most agent-to-agent payments are under $1, a size where traditional rails simply won't work.
Reminder: regulatory foundations for the money agents may use is moving forward 🤝
.@USComptroller Jonathan V. Gould: Today’s final rule advances @POTUS Trump’s and @SecScottBessent’s vision for American leadership in digital assets. We are providing a clear, practical framework for payment stablecoin innovation, with strong standards for reserve backing, redemption, and risk management. The OCC is drawing on its longstanding supervisory expertise to support responsible growth and innovation for this new industry. occ.gov/news-issuances/news-…
We have been talking about discoverability for a while.
Agents choose tools as a tasks unfold. Paying for them has to work the same way.
@Mastercard Agent Pay for Machines builds on x402 and lets agents find and buy services without setting up billing with each provider.
AI agents can find what they need. Now they can pay for it, too.
Today at @Cloudflare Connect, Mastercard showed how Agent Pay for Machines lets an AI agent find and pay for digital services on behalf of a business, while sticking to the budget and rules that business sets.
Following pilots with @Cloudflare, @Ant_Intl , @BVNKFinance, @AIsaOneHQ, @coinbase, @base and @hypepartners, we're opening Agent Pay for Machines Early Access.
Now we want developers to put it to the test. 👇

Stay safe in the age of AI.
"Who controls them?"
@chefsale expects agents to do 90% of the work we do today.
That question, along with what agents can access and who's responsible for their actions, guides @CalimeroNetwork's thinking.
"I only want to attend very focused events."
@0xsamgreen from @CambrianNetwork on joining us at Agentic Zero and discussions around his panel.

we started agentic zero with the main goal of condensing high-quality people and content about agentic finance that people can't find at other events
I define agentic zero as the omakase experience in agentic finance you won't find elsewhere: focused, curated and high-quality
"Talent, ideas and concepts that are really rare to find elsewhere."

Everything will be tokenized. Everything will be traded onchain.
@0xsamgreen from @CambrianNetwork on how he sees AI, digital assets and traditional finance converging into 24/7 markets where consumers won't know a blockchain is settling their assets.
"Cypherpunk meets agents, meets finance."
@chefsale from @CalimeroNetwork on the mix that brought him back to Agentic Zero @Techweek_
the convergence is converging
openai is building its own wallet imo
if the endgame is ai agents managing money, transacting together and potentially interacting with onchain apps, you need a secure execution + custody layer underneath all of that
thats pretty much what a crypto wallet enables
hard to imagine the biggest ai companies outsourcing that layer forever
More infrastructure for agentic payments is coming online.
@vAPI_Network just launched Call, making it easier for agents to discover APIs and pay per request in USDC via x402 on @base.
EP01: Call.
Every paid API is a capability an agent can buy. Every provider gains a route to a new customer.
Call connects them: discover APIs and pay per request in USDC on @base, powered by x402.
The pieces are falling into place: api.vapinetwork.ai/call
"I need it to be agentic."
Full room for @shawmakesmagic, creator of @elizaOS, exploring the future of agentic systems and how agents become part of everyday life.
This is what the first agentic cross-border payment between Argentina and Brazil looks like.

A new city, 1200+ signups and a lineup focused on agentic finance
@Techweek_ you were great
we just wrapped up a new edition of @AgenticZero with 1200+ signups and 20+ speakers during San Francisco @Techweek_ 🇺🇸
my main takeaways:
- we did the first Agentic Zero edition almost a year ago during devconnect when just a small group was talking about agentic finance, things changed a lot
- last year was about crypto experimenting with agents, this year is about the convergence between ai and finance, with crypto as the necessary technology to support the agentic economy
- institutions are rapidly joining the conversation, no one wants to be left behind
- next year, we won’t make any distinction between crypto and tradfi, crypto will merge into finance, and agents will run on top
- not following the crypto-natives event calendar was the right call, we successfully opened the doors to more people who want to build at the frontier
Give agents capital and permission to deploy it.
Ok, but what else do they need?
Building for Autonomous Capital put these question on the agenda: what agents need to hold funds, make decisions and execute them.
What would have to be true for the onchain economy to go mainstream?
Is it already happening?
Our digital assets panel at Agentic Zero started with questions about institutional adoption, tokenized assets and where tradfi meets onchain infrastructure.
Yes, thank you.
hot take: crypto and fintech are basically the same industry now.
stablecoins and blockchain rails ARE a financial technology.
crypto native companies are now launching cards, bank accounts, other financial products, while traditional fintechs are integrating wallets, stablecoins and blockchain rails at an unprecedented rate.
we’re watching both industries attack the same problems from opposite directions until they eventually meet in the middle.
crypto companies are becoming fintechs and fintechs are becoming crypto companies.
