Imagine if MetaMask charged you a % for every token transfer to another wallet and $ for interacting with a bridge on an external site just to move your own funds on a MM device you spent several hundred dollars on
Charging extra per transaction to move your own funds is no different from the TradFi system we were supposed to escape
(Unironically a wire transfer actually costs less than these fees outlined in FAQs)
