Paid a ton of sats for Jewel at Aria for welcoming party. Used UBER to get here. Wearing shorts because I'm FROM ALASKA. Turned away at the door because my dress shorts that are BRAND NEW, TAGS OFF TODAY aren't dress code compliant. Is this a @BitcoinMagazine @TheBitcoinConf event? What a disappointing start.

What is Bitcoin Alaska 2025? @BitcoinAlaska Is it... A) Another concrete jungle with a $10k+ Whale Pass to be granted "special" access to speakers and developers where families are left behind. (Hint, the answer is not A) Or... B) A conference that offers an $800 Whale Pass to go on an all day cruise with some of the most incredible speakers on the planet to witness real whales and see the stranded energy of Alaska with your own eyes. This pass includes the 2-day conference and for those family members who don't want to attend the conference, we are providing a bus and guide to visit our museums, our fish hatchery, Mendenhall Glacier where they may watch bears feed on red salmon. Bus is a free service (admission fees to locations are up to the family members). While concrete jungles may have better restaurants, they don't have the real Alaska experience and they won't make sure your family members have activities outside of the conference.
