Ekvador’da canlı yayınlanan ayin sırasında, “Bir gün hepimiz öleceğiz” diyen rahibin üzerine dev haç düştü. 😨
Ağır haçın altında kalan Rahip Patricio Sánchez Molinari, olay yerinde hayatını kaybetti.
Korkunç kaza canlı yayına yansırken, haçın neden devrildiği henüz açıklanmadı.

Corelab annotations are a lot of work. Frame after frame, contour after contour, and the software we had made it hard.
So I built our own with @claudeai.
It’s called Coronaut. It was made entirely with Claude Code, to solve a problem we lived with every day. It takes an IVUS pullback and segments the lumen, EEM and stent struts automatically. I think it does a much better job than the software we had available. It also does 3D reconstructions and calculates FFR from the lumen.
Was it fast or easy? No. It’s been more than a year in the making. But it allowed us to overcome a barrier that would otherwise have blocked us forever. I know how to code, but how long would it take me to do this by myself? Years?
When I say AI will revolutionize medicine, this is what I mean. This is where doctors and chips meet, and I think it’s beautiful.
Is it perfect? No. It is not finished or validated yet, and it is for research purposes only at this time. But we are working on it constantly, and it’s coming along.

What a great job!
I created LearnCoronary (learncoronary.com), an interactive tool designed to help general cardiology fellows and other early-career learners better understand coronary angiography and the spatial relationships between different angiographic views.

When Is a Coronary Artery “Small”?
RCTs suggest DCBs are non-inferior to DES in small vessels. But where’s the cutoff?
The magic number for long-term stent patency is an MSA of 5.5 mm², corresponding to a vessel diameter of 2.6 mm. See the sizing chart below.
The question of the day: Is a ref. vessel dia. (RVD) of 2.75 mm the tipping point for choosing DES over DCB? 🤔

If 3mm DCB fully yielded without recoil in this young man without heavy calcium then that’s an MLA of 7mm2. It’s adequate.

🚨 Her speech returned—but the danger remained.
A 58-year-old woman suddenly loses the ability to speak and develops right-hand weakness. Within 20 minutes, both symptoms disappear.
She has no fever, no known atrial fibrillation, and no significant carotid stenosis. Transesophageal echocardiography reveals a small, highly mobile mass attached to the aortic valve.
During surgery, the team discovers this delicate, sea-anemone-like lesion.
❓ What is the diagnosis—and how can such a tiny lesion cause a potentially devastating stroke?
