I’m just gonna post this and then go back to listening and voting…my opinions that I’m allowed to have….
As a non kpop Stray Kids fan, I’ve always found it insane the amount of content/access we have with the boys. Messaging and videos and lives and photos…and to see people complaining about getting less is blowing my mind!
The control the fandom has over 8 grown men is crazy to me. Side note: The truck thing is 🤯
So to see ‘fans’ say they are pulling away cause they aren’t getting enough makes me sad. Those boys work so damn hard and every day it’s a new complaint. From album art to schedules to hair to screen time to what they post on their OWN Instagram. They get complaints if they don’t send messages and then complaints if they do. They get complaints when they change their look if it isn’t what you want.
Maybe I just grew up in a different time when we were lucky to get maybe 5 interviews a year and an album after 18 months. What the boys give us feels HUGE…and if they are slowing down for their own benefit…I’m here for it. I appreciate them for their art and love when they want to share it with us.
Any time I get content is a bonus because I’m here for the music and I don’t need a skzcode (which I fucking LOVE and look forward to!) to enjoy their music.
That’s it…that’s my ramble…I’m going back to listening …

if your interest in a group is sustained exclusively by how much content they give you, perhaps it's worth questioning what you're actually attached to

even if skz disappeard for 6 months I would still show up for them everyday, stream their music and watch their content because they have already given us so much. western artists can disappear for two years meanwhile kpop artists get dragged if they do a tinybit less than before
🖤 DEP
