#Clayface 7.0/10 👍🏽 overall a decently good movie BUT flawed.
It’s the first DCU movie I genuinely enjoyed and would watch again (Clayface>Superman 25>Supergirl).
Cons: No actual transformations, just instant pop up transformation after the fact. One of the things that make Clayface iconic are his transformations (imagine watching transformers and Optimus goes from truck to humanoid robot with a flash transition and there’s no transformation).
Pacing issues- first 10-15 minutes are extremely rushed and give you no reason to care for Matt before being mutilated by the mob, those10-15 minutes should’ve been the first 30 minutes of the movie setting up Matt as a character and while the second act recovers and finds a good pacing the third act at times is too slow.
Writing issues- this movie feels like it’s 2 different scripts worked into 1, definitely reworked by the studio/Gunn. The beginning of the film feels like a different movie and the writing is almost amateur-ish with the foreshadowing being way too on the nose and again by the second act it feels like a different movie. A lot of the motives and background are simply just told to you with no work put in and dialogue is overly simplistic. Honestly the beginning of the movie felt like a YouTube fan film.
This movie would’ve heavily benefited more from a fantastical transformation rather then the Ai Nano robots more grounded approach (obviously that was intended for Reeves universe since it was initially a Reeves universe movie before Gunn took over) because the nano tech doesn’t really properly explain the transformations or the survival.
Finally- the tragic untragic ending, the thing that made Clayface iconic was the tragedy that BTAS gave the villain, Matt was wronged and was DESPERATE to get his life back at any cost and that drove him to do bad things but it was for a personal greater good overall while even Batman tried to help him but in the movie even after revenge he kills simply out of selfishness so ultimately there’s no tragedy that reels you in because the movie doesn’t initially put in the work to sell you the character and the character ends up being a selfish prick that gives you nothing to root for. Also the ending was such a rip off from joker that it didn’t land.
Pros: It has awesome gruesome scenes, good suspense, pushes the boundaries a bit and a pretty good score after the first act. Strong second act. Overall it’s just great to see Clayface on the screen as he’s one of my favorite villains.

Venom, without Spider-Man and with a rotten 38% critic score, grossed more than the entire DCU combined.

The MEALS Act (H.R. 6187), provisions of which were incorporated into the Families First Coronavirus Response Act and signed into law in 2020. It expanded USDA waivers for school meal programs during COVID closures.
Members of Minnesota’s Somali community largely ran the Feeding Our Future sites that prosecutors say fraudulently claimed ~$250 million in reimbursements.
Documented ties include: campaign donations (~$5,400–$7,400) from Safari Restaurant associates Ahmed Ghedi and Abdihakim Ahmed (later convicted; funds redirected to charity); 2018 victory party and promotional video at Safari (top fraud site, owner Salim Said convicted); emails with Feeding Our Future founder Aimee Bock on waivers; and former staffer Guhaad Hashi Said’s conviction for a related fake site. Omar has denied knowledge of any fraud.

Superman is not boring. He was conceived by immigrants desperate to fit in. He’s insecure like they were, desperate to be good enough to fit in, to be worthy of love. He’s torn between two worlds, two fathers. I think Zack and Henry (&&&) captured all of this beautifully in MOS.

The trades called HEART OF THE BEAST a bomb on opening weekend. It’s at $155M and still running. Never let a Friday headline write a movie’s obituary.
“Smallville” star Michael Rosenbaum says he refused to return after Season 7 when the studio asked him to do three more seasons without a pay raise:
“It was like, ‘Hey, we want you to sign a three-year deal and give you no increase in pay.’ Anybody who works in any business, it's like, ‘I'm an integral part of this success, don't I need to get rewarded?’ I said, ‘Yeah, no thanks.’ And that was it.”

Based on major news reports of the October 17-18 2026 French riots, the claim holds: no mosques were reported damaged or attacked. Extensive damage hit shops, town halls, and public buildings. A Paris synagogue was vandalized and some churches in Marseille were broken into, but sources note no equivalent incidents involving mosques.
