Call me old fashioned, but I think a charity established to maintain London's bridges should maintain London's crumbling bridges.
Instead, £840 *million* of its endowment has been spaffed on spurious “social justice” causes.
How can someone with such abhorrent views come to manage large budgets on behalf of the Mayor?

I knew David as a kind, tireless colleague who dedicated his life to public service. His death was a terrible reminder of the risks faced by those in public life, and of our responsibility to ensure that everyone can serve their communities without fear.
Today, we remember David’s extraordinary commitment to the people he represented, and the lasting loss felt by his family, friends and all who knew him.
