The only reason the Knicks lost last night is b/c KAT picked up early fouls and Brunson clearly looked rusty in the 4th quarter.
Knicks B2B is still very much alive 😎

Jonathan Taylor or Quenton Nelson for the Giants?
My heart says Taylor. My head keeps coming back to Nelson.
Taylor, Nabers and Likely together would be FILTHY. Taylor already has 655 scrimmage yards and 7 TDs through six games. He would be a menace.
But the Giants’ running backs have 472 yards on 138 carries this season. That’s 3.4 a pop. On Sunday? 34 yards on 14 carries.
I love shiny things, but sometimes the better move is the foundation.
Pass protection has been the stronger part of this line. Creating room for the backs has bee bad, and Nelson would address an actual weakness at left guard while helping whoever gets the ball.
He’s allowed 6 pressures on 248 pass-block snaps this year. Runyan: 13 on 256. So you’re improving the protection, too.
Here’s where the money gets interesting:
Taylor signed a 2-year, $44M extension in August and is controlled through 2028. A trade now would mean roughly $5.3M for the rest of this season, then about $16M in 2027 and $18M in 2028, before extra incentives. The Giants wouldn’t inherit Indy’s already-paid signing bonus.
Nelson is 30 and in the final year of his 4-year, $80M deal. Roughly $10.7M in salary remains right now, and he’s a free agent after the season. An extension would have to be part of the conversation.
My hypothetical offers:
Taylor: a second and a fourth.
Nelson: start with a third, with room for more if an extension comes together.
I’m not sending a first for either.
If Indy opens the door, I’m calling about Nelson first. Taylor is the big playmakermove. Nelson makes both the run game and pass pro better, which is nice.
Who would you trade for?
HERE WE GO!
JJ is the confirmed starter, this offense is much more suitable for him.
The mobility and ability to create off script was critical and they lost a lot of that with Jameis.
Happy with the move Jane having Jameis as QB2 is fine!
Jonathan Taylor ran for 1,585 yards and 18 TDs last year.
Him with Nabers, Likely and a healthy Dart in 2027?
FILTHY.
I think a fair offer would be a 2nd + a conditional pick if the Giants actually considered pursuing.
Signed through 2028, with $34M scheduled for 2027-28, plus his remaining 2026 salary and bonuses.

My fear isn't about how good Jonathan Taylor is, my fear is that our offensive line can't run-block well.
However, having Taylor and Dart next year with Nabers and Likely would be something made of dreams.
Give me that damn ticket rn @Novig

Malik Nabers is going OFF.
Three straight 100-yard games. 398 yards in his last three.
On pace for 116 catches and 1,400 yards over 17 games.
168 catches through his first 25 NFL games. OBJ had 176.
Top 5 WR in the NFL and he's not fully back yet.
Thank goodness, sucks to see a guy lose his spot, but Harris was legitimately not competent.
-Zero Burst
-Zero Speed
-Zero contact-balance
Literally nothing there. This should be the Skat + Tracy show moving forward; just get into a rhythm and let them cook.

The numbers behind J.J. McCarthy's Giants debut are ridiculous 😭
- 243 yards on 11 of 21 passing, with 1 TD and 1 INT
- 22.1 yards per completion, the most for a Giants QB with 10+ completions since Phil Simms in 1989 (per AP)
All of it in the 4th quarter. 🧵⬇️
So this is the perspective I think we truly need to have...
If Daboll were here with no Dart, no Burns, injuries piling up, this team would legitimately not even be competitive.
In reality, Harbs has made a patchwork situation entertaining. Huge upgrade.
Give JJ a full week with the starters.
Nabers and Likely combined for 264 yards yesterday. JJ threw for 243 in ONE quarter, matching Eli’s Giants mark since at least 1991.
Nagy admitted switching from Dart to Winston took plays out of this offense. JJ’s mobility could bring some back.
Yes, they were down 34–10. One quarter isn't a huge sample. But with these weapons, I want to see what JJ can do throughout an entire game, and what do we have to lose?
The Giants’ tackles held up, but the interior had a TOUGH day in Week 6:
Andrew Thomas: 1 pressure on 36 pass-block snaps
J.C. Davis: ZERO pressures on 22 snaps
Marcus Mbow: 1 pressure on 58 snaps
Bryan Hudson: 2 pressures on 58 snaps
Jon Runyan: 3 pressures, including 1 sack, on 58 snaps
Francis Mauigoa: 2 pressures on 58 snaps
The guards and center accounted for 7 of the OL’s 9 pressures allowed.
Thomas and Davis deserve credit, but Sisi had a bad day. Keeping pressure out of JJ’s lap has to be a priority.
