A century of this German expressionist masterpiece. 100 years ago today, on October 14th, 1926, F. W. Murnau's FAUST premiered in Berlin and would go on to become one of the most celebrated silent films. To celebrate its 100th anniversary, I watched it in full for the first time.

100 lat dziś mija od premiery "Fausta" Friedricha Wilhelma Murnaua.
Reżyser legendarnego "Nosferatu - Symfonia grozy" wziął na warsztat dramat Goethego, doprawiając solidnie niemieckimi podaniami i legendami. W ten sposób powstało jedno z największych arcydzieł niemieckiego filmu ekspresjonistycznego z epoki kina niemego.
