The fight continues to keep Bethnal Green Working Men's Club @BGWMC going. So many London cabaret venues have closed their doors for good recently, sign this petition if you want to see this iconic bastion of alternative entertainment protected.

It's #NationalPoetryDay today, with the theme of "counting." Here's my contribution, about reaching middle age:

A cracking @edfringe address by @watsoncomedian.
I was IN that 1998 drum & bass production of The Tempest (and the hotel-based show in fact). Great times. Best of luck to everyone flogging your cultural wares up there, year off for me but will miss it so.

This chap somehow gets better and better. Look, he's everywhere. And currently at @edfringe. Go and see a properly enriching show, if you're into that sort of thing.

This Friday Cabaret Fantastique returns to @alsofestival Warwickshire, with special guests @SLYtheatremaker, @RobDeering and @PixieLeKnot. I am told the venue has been themed in a Parisian style.
I will be the judge of that.
